I grew up with this saying and was taught its various meanings based solely on the tone one used when repeating it. The wisdom behind this saying is that it has the best of intentions in it’s meaning and when you use a different tone to infer something other than the words that are spoken, it humbles you in remembering that everyone is built different and that at the end of the day we should all be blessed.
